Musical Career
Jhybo discovered himself as a musician at the age of 10 years old; a very tender age, he was a young talent in the street of Lagos who was good at rapping and singing employing the use of local dialect Yoruba with a mixture of English.
Jhybo Preferred and widely recognized saying/chants are “be naa ni” which is translated to be “it really is just the way it is” and “limolaligama lagoboyo lebosh” which happens to mean “spiritual calling”
In 2010, while being signed under Bay Production, Jhybo hit the limelight with a massively accepted single “Ejo le fe ro (Run Their Mouth)” featuring rave of the moment at the then time Cynthia Morgan.
Shortly after releasing the hit single, Jhybo went solo taking full responsibility of his several released projects.
In 2014, Jhybo created his own record label Lima Sound (Living In Movement Always) which confirmed the rumors that he’s evicted Bay Production.
