Ryan Jacob Paevey-Vlieger (born 24 September 1984), addressed professionally as Ryan Paevey, is a multifaceted American model, actor, and TV personality.

He gained notoriety from 2013 to 2018 for his portrayal of Nathan West on the ABC serial opera General Hospital. His 2016 telefilm Unleashing Mr. Darcy and its 2018 follow-up, Marrying Mr. Darcy, starred him as Donovan Darcy, a highly well-known character. 

His other well-known telefilms include Dude Ranch, Harvest Love, Hope at Christmas, 4 Dead Girls: The Soul Taker, and From Friend to Fiancé.

His lone cinematic appearance to date was in 2016’s Bogie and Bacall. Ryan Paevey began his career as a model and has since produced music videos for songs by Toni Braxton, Robin Thicke, and others.

When he was younger, Ryan Paevey assisted his father with construction work and occasionally worked as a bartender, but he never intended to work in show business. However, he received numerous offers to work as a model, which he initially resisted on several occasions but ultimately accepted. 

He served as Robin Thicke‘s body double in 2009 for the singer’s song Sex Therapy music video. He appeared in the music video for Toni Braxton‘s single Hands Tied the following year.

Les Vlieger (father) and Linda Paevey (mother) welcomed Ryan Paevey into the world on September 24, 1984, in Torrance, California, in the United States. Kaitlyn Paevey is his younger sister’s name, and she is very close to him.

He spent part of his childhood in Harlem and part of it with his family in Los Angeles. His father’s side gave him ancestry from Indonesia and the Netherlands. He speaks Japanese as well as English and French with ease.
