Career
Simon Nessman began his career in 2007 after being discovered by Mode Models.
His runway debut came during the fall-winter 2008 season, and his breakthrough followed when Riccardo Tisci cast him in Givenchy campaigns across 2008 and 2009.

His career reached its commercial peak with a multiyear contract as the face of Giorgio Armani’s Acqua di Giò Essenza, shot by Bruce Weber, and a six-season run as the face of Michael Kors photographed by Mario Testino.

In later years, Nessman has balanced his modelling work with environmental advocacy, a commitment he has incorporated into his career more openly as the fashion industry has evolved.
He founded and serves as executive director of Cedar Coast Field Station, a not-for-profit ecological research and education centre on Vargas Island dedicated to preserving the biodiversity of Clayoquot Sound.
