Geoff Lloyd, a media personality, was born on 20 April 1973, in Withington, Manchester, England. He was raised in Macclesfield, Cheshire, England, by his parents, who were known to prefer being called Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd. 

While there is no available information regarding his siblings, he likely grew up with them. Geoff Lloyd studied at Harrow School and Trinity College, Cambridge (MA). At Trinity College, he held the esteemed position of President of the Cambridge Union Society in 1925.

Career

Geoff Lloyd embarked on his radio journey back in 1991, initially serving as a traffic and travel reporter for Signal Cheshire in Stockport. His tenure there lasted until the close of 1994. 

Lloyd attributes much of his career development to comedian Craig Cash, acknowledging Cash‘s comedic style, interview techniques, and encouragement as influential. Cash brought Lloyd aboard The Mrs. Merton Show as a runner, eventually connecting him with Pete Mitchell. This pairing led to a decade-long radio collaboration between Pete and Geoff.
