Peter Mbah was born in Enugu State on March 17, 1972. He earned his SSCE at Army Children’s School in Port Harcourt and Owode High School in Ogun State.

He later earned a Bachelor of Laws from the University of East London in the United Kingdom. He then went to law school in Nigeria and was admitted to the Nigerian Bar.

Peter Mbah received his MBA from the IESE Business School at the University of Navarra in Spain and a master’s degree in maritime and commercial law from Lagos State University.

He graduated with a postgraduate diploma in strategy and innovation from Oxford University’s Said Business School. Godfrey Okoye University in Enugu also conferred him an honorary doctorate in political science.

Career

Peter Mbah founded Pinnacle Oil and Gas Ltd. After a successful corporate career, he entered politics. He was made Chief of Staff by Governor Chimaroke Nnamani in 2003, and he later held the position of Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development.

However, he held positions on the Federal Accounts Allocation Committee, Enugu State Executive Council, and the State Security Council.
