Famous Faces and their Corresponding Games
Celebrities and games have always gone together pretty well. Give a famous face a controller, a deck of cards, or a set of casino reels,, and they usually keep coming back.
Sometimes it is the game they grew up with. Sometimes it is simply the one they find hardest to put down.

And some celebs definitely have their favourite casino game which they return to time and again. Paris Hilton, for example, has long been associated with slots, while Matt Damon is much more of a poker man. Damon famously became deeply involved in poker, even taking lessons from professional players as his interest in the game grew. Pamela Anderson has also been known for both poker and slots, making her another celebrity with more than one gaming favourite.
Paris Hilton and the Slots
Paris Hilton is probably one of the easier names to connect with casino gaming. Slots have been a big part of her public image over the years, and it makes sense when you look at the sheer variety available today.
There is no shortage of themes, styles and formats either. You can go from classic fruit machines to big-screen productions with famous characters, films and music built into them. For someone who likes a bit of variety, slots certainly offer plenty of it.
Matt Damon and Pamela Anderson
Matt Damon is a different story. Poker has been the big one for him, with his interest going well beyond simply sitting down for the occasional hand.
His connection with poker was also helped by his role in Rounders, the 1998 film that became a favourite among poker fans. Damon played Mike McDermott, a talented player trying to make his way through the world of high-stakes poker. Not a bad role for someone who would later become a serious player away from the cameras too.
Pamela Anderson has had a foot in both camps. She has played poker and has also been associated with slots, showing that celebrities do not necessarily have to stick to one particular type of game.
Steven Spielberg and Call of Duty
Then there are the stars who prefer video games. Steven Spielberg is a big fan of Call of Duty, which might seem like an obvious choice given his long connection with big-budget action and war films.
Call of Duty has become one of the biggest names in gaming, with its mix of fast action, military settings and huge online following. Spielberg has also been involved in gaming projects himself, so his interest is hardly surprising.
Megan Fox Goes Mortal Kombat
Megan Fox has another classic on her list: Mortal Kombat. The fighting series has been around since the early 1990s and remains one of those gaming names almost everybody recognises.
It is a pretty different choice from slots or poker. There is no sitting back and waiting for the cards or reels to do their thing. Mortal Kombat is all about timing, combinations and knowing your fighter.
Jack Black and Red Dead Redemption 2
As a big fan of Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar’s enormous western adventure, Jack Black‘s choice is perhaps the most fitting of the lot. .
Black has always admitted to a strong connection with gaming and geek culture, so Red Dead Redemption 2 feels like a natural fit as it gives players a huge world to wander around, with shooting, horses, missions and plenty of strange characters along the way. .
The interesting thing about all these names is that there is no single celebrity gaming style. Some like cards, some like reels and others would rather spend hours roaming around a virtual Wild West. Famous faces may have plenty of different interests, but when it comes to games, they can be just as predictable as the rest of us.
