Iyabo Ojo’s Daughter Defends Mom Against Naira Marley’s Legal Action

Nigerian social media influencer, Priscilla Ajoke Ojo, has spoken out against singer Naira Marley, for accusing her actress mother, Iyabo Ojo, of defamation and threatening to sue for N500 million.

Naira Marley‘s legal action alleges that Iyabo Ojo posted false and defamatory content on her Instagram account in September 2023, accusing the singer of engaging in spiritual and physical dealings with the late singer Mohbad.

In response to the accusations, Priscilla Ojo took to her Instagram stories to question the singer’s audacity to threaten her mother. She highlighted the ongoing legal matters involving Naira Marley and expressed frustration.

Priscilla Ojo wrote, “The audacity!!! You want to sue? Sue who LMAOOOOO clowns. The cases you have in court for the boys catalogue and unpaid royalties have you finished that one? You want to sue who? When they’re legit videos and evidence of you and your gang steady bullying that young man before he died? Dey play.”

She further emphasized that her mother had not only taken her fight online but had also been actively involved in seeking justice for the late Mohbad, including supporting his grieving mother and even paying for DJ Splash’s hospital bills and treatment.

Priscilla Ojo defended her mother’s actions, stating that she had supported the young girl who was raped and had also been a strong advocate for the young man who was allegedly bullied by his record label before his untimely death. She criticized those who quickly judged her mother’s actions and emphasized the importance of standing up for justice.

The public remains divided as the legal battle between Naira Marley and Iyabo Ojo continues. However, one thing is clear: the late Mohbad‘s spirit will not be silenced, and those who stand for justice will continue to fight for what is right.
