Early Life

Jamiu Azeez was born on the 25th of July, 1985 in Lagos State. He grew up in the Somolu-axis of the State and was raised in a polygamous home.

Azeez was also the first of four children in his family. His parents, who were indigenes of Kwara State-owned a local business, to support, cater and put their children through school.

His ability to thrive in the movie industry stems from his creativity and social skills. He also grew up in the early 90s; a time when the movie/theatre industry was beginning to take a new shape.

36-year-old Jamiu Azeez also grew up with a keen interest in Yoruba movies. He particularly grew fond of veteran actress, Opeyemi Aiyeola, and mentioned her as his role model recently.
