Early life and education
Priyanka Kothari was born on November 30, 1983, in Calcutta, West Bengal, India, into a Bengali-speaking Kothari family. Her father, Nirmal Kumar Kothari, worked as a chemical businessman, while her mother, Nirmala Devi Kothari, was a homemaker.
She has one elder sister. Priyanka spent her childhood in Calcutta before her family later relocated to Delhi, where she spent much of her teenage years.
She studied at Dyal Singh College, affiliated with the University of Delhi, and graduated in science. Before entering the film industry, she pursued modeling in Mumbai.
