Early Life And Education

Ruth Kadiri, the eldest of the family, was born on March 24, 1988, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, to Mr Desmond Kadiri’s family. She has a younger sister named Precious This Kadiri. She was raised in the notoriously difficult Ajegunle neighbourhood of Lagos. 

Ruth Kadiri attended the University of Lagos to study mass communication and Yaba College of Technology to study business administration.

Career

Ruth Kadiri began her career in the church and began sharing stories throughout high school. Before she decided to go to a movie audition, she wrote short scripts and stories. Ruth Kadiri’s initial audition took place at the well-known Nigerian film studio Wale Adenuga Studios.

 Ruth Kadiri met Wole Ojo, the owner of a script-writing school, at the Wale Adenuga Studio during the casting call. She became well-known within the Nigerian film industry.

Ruth Kadiri made her film debut in Boy’s Cot, which co-starred notable Nollywood actors such as Nonso Diobi, Uche Jombo, Jim Iyke, and Mike Ezuruonye. Since beginning her career, Ruth has acted in nearly a hundred films.
