Sive Mabuya was born in Cape Town on the 26th of April in 1993.
She however grew up in East London with her parents and 3 siblings.

Sivenathi Mabuya developed a passion for drama by acting in the church and in school.

In February 2015, Sive Mabuya was announced as one of five winners of the MAQa movie competition for amateur actors.
