Early Life & Education

Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr was born on April 29, 1988, in Mampong, a town in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, and he is currently 35.

He is the only child of his parents, Kwadwo Akwaboah and Agnes Akwaboah. His father is a renowned highlife musician who has composed songs for legendary artists such as Daddy Lumba, Amakye Dede, and Pat Thomas.

His mother is a retired teacher who also sings in the church choir. Akwaboah Jnr grew up in a musical family and was exposed to various genres of music from an early age.

He started playing the piano when he was only three years old and learned to play by ear without formal training. He attended the Mampong Preparatory School and later the St. Hubert Seminary School, where he excelled in academics and music.
