Stephen Morrisson (born 1990) is a renowned British rapper and songwriter better addressed as Morrisson. Several of his singles charted on the UK Singles Chart in 2020–21 while also reaching the top 40 of the UK R&B Singles Chart.

His rise to prominence began in 2020 when his single House & Garage peaked at number 16 on the UK R&B Chart. The single’s success led to a record deal with Universal Music Group.

In 2021, Morrisson released the single Blama featuring Tion Wayne and Steel Banglez, which peaked at number 46 on the UK Singles Chart.

Early Life & Education

Morrisson was born in Newham, London, England, in 1990. He was raised in a single-parent household by his mother, who worked as a hairdresser. He has a brother named Steve Morrison, who was stabbed to death.

As a child, he was a bright student but lacked direction. He was expelled from school at the age of 16 and spent the next few years working odd jobs. His mother raised him, and Morrisson got involved in crime at an early age. But when he was convicted of dealing cannabis at the age of 16, he decided to change his ways.

In 2005, Morrisson enrolled in a music school at Westminster Kingsway College. After graduation, Morrisson worked as a freelance rapper designer for a few years.
