Early Life

Tay Iwar was born in Marina, Lagos, Nigeria, on June 9, 1997. Austin Iwar and Vivian Iwar are his parents. Suté Iwar, his elder brother, was an early musical influence on him. Austin began making music when he was fourteen, using the digital music software FL Studio. He spoke about his journey at the TED conference in Rivers State in 2015.
