In 2017, after helping Israel counter social media attacks on his church, Ralawe claimed she was never paid for her work, leading to her departure. She received death threats, and her car tires were vandalized in East London, with fake social media accounts displaying her son’s pictures.

Additionally, Israel accused Emmanuel Makandiwa, the leader of the United Family International Church, of misconduct, alleging a second wife, extortion, cult involvement in Ghana, and performing fake miracles.
