Early Life & Education

David Dobrik was born in Kosice, Slovakia. He was born on the 23rd of July, 1996. His family then moved to Vernon Hills, Illinois, United States, when he was about 6 years old.

His father is Pavo Dobrik, while his three siblings combine his two sisters, Ester Dobrik and Sara Dobrik, and his brother Toby Dobrik.

David Dobrik started schooling here; he did primary and secondary school at local schools in the vicinity. 

When he was in school, he enjoyed playing tennis a lot. So he started playing tennis for competitive reasons. David Dobrik joined a tennis competition, qualified for the 2014 Boys Tennis Tennis State Tournament, and took the third position. After he had finished school, he moved to Los Angeles to start his career in Vine. 

Career

David Dobrik‘s career began in 2013 to 2016 when he started a Vine vlog on YouTube. He had some collaborations with other popular Vine creators, including Gabbie Hanna. 

On his Youtube Vlog, he mostly uploads comedic videos which are either based on real-life events, animated or scripted. 

David Dobrik gained a massive following when he started uploading videos of himself doing comedy skits, reality pranks, inside jokes, cute animals, and hosting famous vloggers and Viners.

David Dobrik is being protected from deportation as a Slovak Citizen who moved into the United States illegally. By the DACA organization. He has three younger siblings.

He is said to have dated fellow YouTube famous star Liza Koshy from the year 2015 to 2018. They split in June 2018. 

In 2019, David Dobrik decided to give love another chance and legally married his girlfriend, Lorraine Nash. However, the duo split after one month of their union due to reasons unknown to the public.
