Micheal Ian Olmo (born 25 March 1999) is a 25-year-old talented American rapper, singer, actor, and songwriter. He is also known by his stage, Iann Dior.

The world popularly knows him for his hit single titled Mood, which he released in 2020 in collaboration with a fellow rapper named 24kGoldn.

Early Life & Education

iann dior was born on the 25th of March 1999 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to his parents, Tommy Olmo and Anabelle Olmo. 

He comes from a Christian home. The family moved from Puerto Rico to Corpus Christi in Texas when he was 5 years old.

Iann Dior was enrolled in local primary and secondary schools in Toronto. He graduated from High School in 2017. 

He revealed that his dad made him listen to rap music, especially from Jay-Z, and his mom has him listen to Mexican songs. One of her favorite artists was Marc Anthony. 

Career

Iann Dior is primarily a rapper. He also does a little singing and songwriting. One of the singles he released that brought him to fame is Mood which topped the Billboard Hot 100. 

Back in 2019, he began his career after being fired from a job at United Parcel Services. He then began recording his songs on SoundCloud. 

Iann Dior recorded his very first single, titled Cutthroat, which was played for over 5 million times. In early 2022, he released another song featuring Travis Barker and Machine Gun Kelly titled Thought It Was, which is the third song on the album.
