Olamide Biography

Born in March 6, 1989 in Bariga, Lagos, Nigeria, Olamide Adedeji popularly known as Olamide Baddo, One of the most controversial acts that has made it to the limelight and really stayed there, at least for the most part of his entertainment life which is still very much active.

He knows frustration, the war of competition, he has faced the bitter distaste of disappointing fans and as well enjoyed rosey moments as he is one of the few who have successfully dropped singles that rocked the nation and the world at large for months; trending beyond reasoning. Road To Fame

Olamide started off officially in 2000 but could only release his debut in 2010 titled Eni Duro. He gained the love of the streets obviously and eventually with Coded Tunes then managed by the official producer at the time ID Cabasa.

He got in contact with Tony Payne who took over, managing his talent. The music business is no stranger to falling outs between artistes and managements and hence the change had to come and Olamide had to make his own path. Daring to face the spooky route accustomed with the Nigerian music industry alone., He made the right decision, apparently.

He persisted and with the support of his partner Adebunkunmi Aisah Suleiman whom he’s been with even before his rise to stardom. They have a son together named Batifeori Adedeji in 2015. It is worth of note that Olamide proposed to his fiancee in 2018.

Olamide has to his name 35 singles including one album which was a joint one with his industry friend Phyno.
He released his first album titled Rhapsody, he was with Coded Tunes at the time. His second album was titled Yahoo Boy no Laptop (YBNL). He released his third and titled it Baddest Guy Ever Liveth, the fifth studio album was titled Street OT.
Eyan Mayweather was the fifth album was released next as his fifth album just before he released the joint album with Phyno. He just dropped an EP named 999.
