Shrenu Parikh, an Indian actress for television, was born on November 11, 1989. She is most known for her role as Aastha Agnihotri in the StarPlus love drama Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. 

Gauri Kumari Sharma and Ek Baar Phir in the drama serial Ishqbaaaz from 2013 to 2015.

Shrenu Parikh was born and raised in Vadodara, Gujarat, where she also received his early schooling. She obtained her pharmacy degree from the Babaria Institute of Pharmacy in Vadodara to complete her schooling. Shubham Parikh is her younger brother.

Early Life & Education

On November 11, 1989, Shrenu Parikh was born in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. She is currently 34 years old. 

She obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy from Vadodara’s Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Her mother, Smita Parikh, works in banking, and her father is an engineer. Shubham Parikh is Shrenu Parikh‘s brother.

Career

In 2010, a cameo appearance on the program Zindgi Ka Har Rang…Gulaal marked Shrenu Parikh‘s debut on television. 2011 saw her land her first leading role on television in the Colors program Havan. She later played the lead opposite Gaurav Khanna in Byaah Hamari Bahoo Ka, which aired on Sony TV. 

She says her experience in this series: “I worked on my body language and studied vocal modulation. I’ve developed as an actor.”

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, a love drama on StarPlus, featured her. She co-starred in the television series Ek Baar Phir (2013–2015) with Avinash Sachdev as Aastha Agnihotri, a powerful progressive lady who fought against domestic abuse to honor women in her community. When asked about her time on this show, she said it was a career turning point because of the roles she was offered after being cast as Aastha.

In 2017, Shrenu Parikh played Gauri Kumari Sharma opposite Kunal Jaisingh in the first Indian television spin-off series on StarPlus, Dil Boley Oberoi. Later, this program was combined with StarPlus’ Ishqbaaaz, in which Parikh continued to play Gauri in the drama program Ishqbaaaz (2017–2018). Following the series’ generational shift, she left the program in 2018.

In the 2017 movie Thodi Thodi Si Manmaaniyan, Shrenu Parikh made her acting debut alongside Arsh Sehrawat. She co-starred with Jay Soni in Lamboo Rastoo, her second movie, in 2018. In the StarPlus thriller series Ek Bhram…In Sarvagun Sampanna in 2019, she played Janhvi Mittal, a character driven by retaliation to destroy the Mittal family. She starred alongside Zain Imam in this role.

Shrenu Parikh played Shalini Patel, a lady who is driven by materialistic greed and desires to increase her political position, in her first web series, Kshadyantra (2021), a Gujarati political thriller. Then, she played the obstinate and covert journalist Shanaya Roy in Damaged 3 (2021), a Hindi psychological crime thriller web series. 

Alongside Akshay Mhatre, Shrenu Parikh played Genda in the &TV social drama series Ghar Ek Mandir – Kripa Agrasen Maharaj Ki in 2021. The entire event was shot in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
