Udomboso John Saviours (born 16 February 1995), professionally known as Young John, is a 26 years old talented producer and audio engineer from Nigeria.

The “Wicked Producer,” as he often calls himself, came into the limelight following the production of Olamide‘s hit single titled Story For the gods off his Street OT album.

The celebrity producer was ranked #3 in the NET’s list of Nigeria’s Top 7 Biggest Music Producer due to His music production credits in albums like Street OT and 2 Kings.

Early Life & Education

Young John was born on 16 February 1995 into a Christian family of Akwa Ibom descent residing in Ibadan, Oyo State.

He attended Ideal Foundation Primary School, Ibadan, and GOF College, Osogbo, Osun state.

During his high school days in Osogbo, he started showing interests in sports, particularly basketball and soccer, and later musical instruments, miming and dance.

Young John is currently studying Communication and Language Arts at the University of Ibadan.

Career

The incredible beat master, Young John started playing musical instruments as a child. Alongside his brothers, he formed a musical group called AVG before being signed by Hit Factory Studio in 2012.

During his time at the record, he produced the hit single by Olamide titled Story for the gods. In the 2015 edition of the Headies, he was nominated for the Producer of the Year for his work on another of Olamide‘s hit song, Bobo, which gained massive acclaim.

The wicked producer Young John has been linked to artists like Lil Kesh, Phyno, Wizkid, Davido, etc. He has gained credit for producing wings such as Davido‘s Biggest Backside, Gbese by Lil Kesh, including album credits relating to Davido‘s The Baddest, 2 Kings by Olamide, and Phyno.
