Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy (born 23 January 1998), whose professional identity is XXXTentacion, was a rapper, singer, and songwriter from the United States. He was recognized for his raw and adventurous style of music. He’d always been musically inclined but despised following notes and patterns. 

He was influenced as a child by rappers such as Tupac Shakur and bands such as Papa Roach. On SoundCloud, XXXTentacion earned notoriety by sharing excerpts and full versions of his songs. 

XXXTentacion had collaborated with rapper Ski Mask the Slump God, and their music group Members Only had published many albums. His music was noted for being violent, with a rich mix of distorted beats, and he didn’t follow any beats or notes. He changed his name to XXXTentacion, which means Unknown Temptation.

Early Life & Education

XXXTentacion was born in Florida on January 23, 1998, and died on June 18, 2018, from a gunshot. He was born and raised in Plantation, Florida, United States, as part of a lower-middle-class Christian family. He is of American nationality and follows the Christian faith. 

Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, XXXTentacion‘s father, is in jail on RICO charges, and Cleopatra Bernard, XXXTentacion‘s mother, is a housewife. 

Aiden Onfroy, his brother, and Arianna Drew Onfroy, his sister, were his other siblings.

He received his early education at Margate Middle School in Margate, Florida, when he was expelled for his violent behavior. He later enrolled at Piper High School in Piper, Florida, in the United States. 

XXXTentacion was going to start Community College to acquire his GED when he died. He was always more interested in music and sports when he was a child. 

He was always physically fit and had an aggressive personality. During his gloomy periods as a child, he spent a lot of time listening to music.

Career

XXXTentacion spent a year in prison during his early adolescent years due to his involvement in certain crimes. He met rapper Ski Mask the Slump God while incarcerated. 

They created a group called Members Only once they were released. With the release of his debut single, News/Flock, in 2013, he began his musical career. His first song, Vice City, was uploaded to his SoundCloud account in 2014. 

He also used the platform to share teasers or complete versions of songs that were either about to be released or had never been released. 

In 2015, XXXTentacion collaborated with rap artist Ski Mask the Slump God on two albums, Members Only Vol. 1 and Members Only Vol. 2. He published his first song in 2016, titled Willy Wonka Was a Child Murderer. 

Look at Me (2016) was a hit for him. The song was re-released in 2017 and charted on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. Revenge, his first album, was released in May 2017 and featured eight previously released mixtape tracks. 

Bad Vibes Forever, XXXTentacion‘s final studio album, was released posthumously in 2019. Members Only, Vol. 4 was released the same year. 

Personal Life 

From 2013 through 2018, XXXTentacion was in a relationship with Geneva Ayala. He was also in a sexual relationship with Jenesis Sanchez in 2018.

They were expecting a kid when he died, and her mother disclosed it three days later. Gekyume Onfroy is the name of XXXTentacion‘s son. He also dated Taylor White.

In addition to these women, XXXTentacion has previously been linked to Indyamarie Jean Pelton and Billie Eilish.
