Senamile Masango, born in May 1987 in South Africa, hails from a polygamous family, with her late father having three sons who served as chief inspectors. She is the daughter of the second wife. The family lived on the outskirts of KwaZulu Natal, KwaNongoma, and Senamile completed her studies at Mlokothwa High School, graduating in 2003.

At the age of 17, Senamile moved to South Africa, bringing with her a half-Ethiopian and half-Eritrean heritage. Her academic journey commenced at Bond University, where she studied software development.
