Ajuri Ngelale (born 12 November 1986) is a Nigerian journalist who served as the senior and assistant special adviser for Muhammadu Buhari. 

He has worked as an editor, reporter, and columnist for various Nigerian newspapers. 

He is the author of two books: The Struggle for Nigeria’s Soul and Buhari: From General to President.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, also approved the appointment of Chief Ajuri Ngelale as Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity. The appointment commence on 31st July 2023 and shall remain in effect until the conclusion of this administration unless otherwise determined by the President.

Ajuri Ngelale is a Nigerian journalist who was born and raised in the United States, although he spent part of his childhood days in Ogoni, a small village in Rivers state. Born on the 12th of November, 1986, in his state of origin, Rivers State, Nigeria, Ajuri Ngelale‘s tribe is of the Ogoni.
