Nyesom Wike, a man of many talents, was born on a rather auspicious day, December 13, 1967, in the picturesque town of Obio-Akpor in Nigeria. His father, Nlemanya Wike, was a prominent Nigerian businessman and an evangelical reverend. 

A true scion of his father’s legacy, he received his formative education at Government Secondary School, Eneka in Obiakpor, and pursued a Bachelor of Laws degree from the prestigious Rivers State University of Science and Technology (RSUT).
