Early Life
Jessica Orishane was born to the Orishane family in Lagos on the 18th of November 1998.
She is an Isoko lady who hails from Isoko South L.G.A, Delta State. She is the last child of the family and has three siblings – a brother and two sisters.
She started acting at the young age of eleven and since then, her love for the profession has waxed strong. This is why she always puts in her best whenever she is playing any role.
Education
Jessica Orishane obtained her First School Leaving Certificate and West African School Certificate from good private schools in Lagos.
She studied Creative Arts at the University Of Lagos and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts in 2020.
Career
Jessica Orishane‘s acting career can be traced back to her primary school days where she participated in school plays. She was also an active member of her church’s drama group.
When she entered secondary school, she joined the drama academy Teenivision. Her membership in the academy helped her improve her acting skills and reinforced in her the mindset that she was meant to be a professional actress.
As soon as she got admitted into the University Of Lagos in 2015, she started going for movie auditions. Sometimes she was selected by the directors of such movies to act in minor roles.
Her breakthrough finally came in 2018 when she auditioned for the series, My Siblings and I. The TV series is produced by ace actress, Funke Akindele Bello. The show is aired weekly on Africa Magic.
Jessica Orishane plays the role of Nnenna in the series and due to her excellent acting performance, she has become a household name.
