Early Life & Education

Elom Adablah, popularly known as E.L., spent his early years in the vibrant suburb of Dansoman, nestled in Accra. Born on June 28th, 1989, he commenced his academic pursuits at St. Martin De Porres School in Dansoman before proceeding to Jack and Jill to complete his Junior Secondary School education.

After graduating from high school, he remained committed to pursuing his love for music. During his time at Presbyterian Boys Secondary School (PRESEC), he found a deep-seated passion for music. His love for music followed him into the hallowed halls of the University of Ghana, Legon, where he pursued a double major in economics and political science.

In his first year at college, the young and talented Elom “E.L” Adablah inked a deal with Jayso‘s Skillions Records. He collaborated with Jayso to co-produce the Skillionaires Demo tape, but the Skillions disbanded after he graduated from university. Undeterred, he took the reins of his music career and decided to go solo, setting up his studio in Asylum Down.

Career

Elom “E.L” Adablah moved to a more excellent studio at Osu and spent all his available funds on equipment. He even released a track, Chale (So Fli), with Jay Foley, Wolf, and Kwaku T. The mixtape, however, was never released. His debut double album, Something Else, was published by Akwaaba Music on June 1, 2012, and is a blend of many styles of music inspired by numerous sources. Elom “E.L” Adablah has signed with BBnZ live.

On May 20, 2014, he published The Best African Rapper, abbreviated as The B.A.R. It included Sarkodie, Joey B, C-Real, Gemini, Telvin, Frozen, Lil Shaker, Stargo, P. K., and Dex Kwasi, among others from Nigeria. Following the success of the previous episode of the BAR series, another mixtape was born. This comprised established and rising rappers such as Teephlow, Kojo-Cue, and Medikal. Nina, a plot song about a psychopathic groupie, is one of the album’s standout tracks.

Other hard-core rap tracks such as Change, Superstar, Lalafalama, and Bars were highly praised. Elom “E.L” Adablah released his fifth studio album, BAR V (stylized as BVR), a 15-track collection. Rap singles were Nobody, The Greatest, and Thinkin’. Falz of Nigeria and Akan and Bryan The Mensah of Ghana appeared on E.L.

This was a collaborative project with fellow Ghanaian musician, Ayisi – AI. This will be the first time he has issued a collaborative album. It will be Ghana’s second notable joint album, following Sarkodie (rapper) and Jayso‘s collaboration with TMG. The Linkop album resulted from their good chemistry during their cooperation on the Adwuma song. This CD has seven songs that range from Afrobeats to Dancehall to Reggae fusion. The For 2 music is popular with the general public.

This had seven songs of various genres. The award-winning rapper uniquely celebrated the New Year. Elom “E.L” Adablah released several projects at the start of the new decade, including a few singles and two separate tapes. The first was the Leaks1. This included talented rappers who needed to be more well-known. One of these rappers is Yung Pabi, with whom he collaborated on the song Respect. This album contained three tracks.

It had three tracks, much like the previous tape. As intriguing as the tunes are, some industry pundits/critics have dubbed them masterpieces. Track 3 – Jerry Rawlings was the standout track, featuring friend and longtime collaborator Gemini Orleans.
