Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda (born June 23, 1992) is a Ghanaian Afro-pop, dancehall and R&B singer and songwriter.
She is known in the music industry by her stage name, MzVee.
Formerly signed to Lynx Entertainment, she dropped her debut album in 2014 which thrust her into limelight.
The album was so successful that she earned seven nominations at the 2016 Ghana Music Awards.

MzVee was born to the family of Mr Ernest Hamenoo-Kpeda and Mrs Florence Hamenoo-Kpeda.
She was born in Accra City on the 23rd of June 1992.
She was named Vera by her parents. Her father is a businessman while her mom is a professional caterer. She has three siblings, two sisters and a brother.
Born into a Christian household, MzVee was raised in South La Estates, Accra. From a young age, MzVee aspired to be a musical star. She spent her free time composing songs and performing them in front of her mirror, family and friends.
MzVee completed her elementary school education at St. Martin de porres school, Accra. She attended St. Mary Senior Girls High School for her secondary school education.
She bagged a degree in Business Administration from Ghana Telecom University.
MzVee joined the music industry as a professional singer in 2012 and was the lead singer of D3, a girl band signed under Lynx Entertainment. Before the band split up, they released singles such as Gyani Gyani and Girls Gone Bad.
In 2014, she dropped her debut album which contained hit singles like Borkor Borkor and Natural Girl. The album was so successful that she earned nominations at the different music awards in Ghana.
She followed this success with a second studio album, Verified, in November 2015. While her third album, DaaVee was dropped in May 2017.
After a three-year break, MzVee dropped her fourth album, inVeencible in 2020. As one of the biggest music artistes in Ghana and West Africa, she has worked with the likes of Sarkodie, Tekno, DJ Spinall, Efya, Shatta Wale, Mugeez, Falz, Kojo Funds, M.anifest, Medikal, Kelvyn Boy, Stonebwoy, Richie Mensah, VIP and Didier Awadi.
