Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi (born October 3, 1991), widely recognized as Mbosso Khan, is a skilled musician from Tanzania. He is celebrated for his roles as a singer, songwriter, and record producer in the music industry. 

Affiliated with WCB Wasafi, the record label founded by Diamond Platnumz, Mbosso has forged a notable reputation. Before his flourishing solo career, he contributed to the Yamoto Band alongside three other members from 2013 to 2015. 

Operating under the stage name Maromboso during this period, Mbosso and the Yamoto Band achieved significant success, clinching the esteemed Kilimanjaro Music Awards for Best Band of the Year in 2015. However, despite their triumphs, the group disbanded later that same year.

Personal Life

In 2017, the 32-year-old Mbosso was married to Boss Martha, and the couple welcomed a son during their union. Tragically, Boss Martha fell ill and passed away in 2019, leaving Mbosso devastated and alone. In 2019, the singer experienced the loss of one of his children’s mothers, Boss Martha, who was also a comedienne.

Mbosso is permitted to have up to four wives as a practising Muslim. Presently, he is a father of three children from different women. One of his baby mamas resides in Mombasa, Kenya, and another unfortunately passed away. His third child’s mother is Tanzanian.

In 2019, Mbosso and his girlfriend, Rukia Rucky, joyfully welcomed their son, Iqram Khan Jr. By 2020, Mbosso was a father to three children with three different women. Despite his Islamic beliefs allowing for four wives, Mbosso once expressed that having 15 to 20 women in his life would be ideal, a sentiment he shared during the marriage ceremony of Diamond Platnumz‘s sister, Esma Platnumz, to Yahya Musizwa, also known as Maulid Msizwa, where she was announced as the third wife.
