Cameron Jibril Thomaz, better known by his stage name Wiz Khalifa, was born on September 8, 1987, in Minot, North Dakota. His parents, Laurence Thomaz and Peachie Wimbush were both military members, and he spent his early years moving from place to place. His sister is named Dorien Lala Thomaz. He lived in Germany, the United Kingdom, and Japan before settling in Pittsburgh with his mother in 1996. His parents got separated when he was just three years old.
