Born on March 13, 1994, in Umuahia, Abia State, Erica Nlewedim is a Nigerian actress and model. Raised by her parents, Oby Nwokolo and Eric Nlewedim Christian, she shares a special bond with her identical twin sister, whose name has not been disclosed to the media.

Erica embarked on her educational journey at Victory Grammar School and Command Day Secondary School in Ikeja. Subsequently, she pursued higher education at Covenant University before venturing abroad to attain her acting degree from MetFilm School in London in 2019.
