Austin Richard Post, also known by his stage name Post Malone, is an American rapper, songwriter, singer, and record producer.
He was born in Syracuse, New York, the USA on July 4, 1995. Aside from getting recognition through his tattoos, Post Malone is also known for his short vocal style, introspective songwriting, and singer who combines various genres including R&B, rap-rock, hip-hop, and Cloud Rap.

Early Life
Post Malone was raised by his father, Rich Post, and his stepmother, Jodie. Rich Post used to be a DJ. Yes, introduced Malone to various musical genres including country, hip hop, and rock since childhood.
When Post Malone was 9 years old, he and his family decided to move to Grapevine, Texas. It happened after his father became the convention manager for the Dallas Cowboys. In 2010, Malone played guitar and auditioned for the American band, Crown The Empire.
However, the venture failed after guitar strings in 2017, he appeared as a DJ in Los Angeles and played the songs of the American alt-rock band, My Chemical Romance on Emo Night.

Austin came up with the stage name, Post Malone at the age of 15. His debut single, White Iverson, was recorded only 2 days after he’d finished writing it, and completed in the month of February 2015.
The song speedily received over 1 million views online and was praised by many other artists. Malone caught the attention of record labels and was signed to Republic Records later that year.
Although Post Malone’s career only began a few years ago, he’s quickly becoming a sensation; and Rolling Stone even named him as one of the most popular musicians in the country.
Most of Post Malone’s hits have reached hundreds of millions of views online, including the likes of ‘Rockstar’ featuring 21 Savage.
He has also collaborated on tracks with the likes of 50 Cent, Kanye West, and Gucci Mane.
