Blac Chyna Claims Kylie Jenner Was Underage When Tyga Left Her
Blac Chyna, the model and former reality television star now known as Angela White, has revived one of pop culture’s most dissected feuds.
She says her engagement to the rapper Tyga collapsed because he was talking to Kylie Jenner while Jenner was still a minor, and that the backlash fell on her instead.

In remarks from a conversation with Nick Viall on The Viall Files that are again spreading across social media, Chyna said the sequence began when Tyga’s friends threw her out of his house. Kylie then started talking to him, which Chyna called “kind of crazy” because the younger woman was “like underage.”
The part that stung most, she said, was the reaction: “everybody had kind of came at me and started attacking me,” while “nobody seeing like the Betrayal that was like going on behind my back.” She also noted that Kylie was the little sister of Kim Kardashian, a close friend at the time, and said Kim had no control over her.
Chyna and Tyga, whose legal name is Michael Ray Stevenson, began dating in 2011 and became engaged. Their son, King Cairo Stevenson, was born in October 2012, and the couple split in 2014.
Tyga reportedly first met Kylie at her sister Kendall Jenner’s 16th birthday party in 2011, when Kylie was 14 and Tyga was 21. Kylie, born in August 1997, turned 17 in the summer of 2014, roughly eight years younger than the rapper, and turned 18 in August 2015. The pair became a public couple around that time and separated in April 2017.
The relationship split the Kardashian circle. Chyna had appeared on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and was close to Kim, but testified years later that Kim asked her to end the friendship once Tyga and Kylie were together.
Amber Rose told GQ that Tyga had been texting Chyna about wanting his family back while he was out with a 17-year-old. Khloé Kardashian defended the relationship in a 2015 magazine interview.
The twist Chyna described next surprised the family most. Rob Kardashian, Kylie’s older brother, contacted her through Instagram direct messages. Her first reaction was suspicion: “okay what do y’all want now.” She recalled wondering why his brother was in her inbox before deciding, “this guy is like actually really cool.” She has also denied dating Rob to get back at the family.
Chyna and Rob started dating in January 2016, got engaged that April, and welcomed their daughter, Dream Kardashian, in November 2016. Their E! series, Rob & Chyna, aired for a single season. The relationship ended bitterly, and in July 2017 Rob posted explicit images of her and accusations online, after which Chyna obtained a restraining order.
In October 2017, Chyna sued Kris Jenner, Kim, Khloé and Kylie for $100 million. She alleged they spread false claims that she had assaulted Rob, which she said led E! to cancel the show. At the 2022 trial, Kylie testified that she and Tyga visited Rob to warn him about Chyna’s alleged drug and alcohol use and violence, and that Tyga showed her a scar he said Chyna caused. The jury sided with the defendants.
Kylie has since had two children with Travis Scott, Stormi Webster and Aire Webster. Tyga has been linked in the past to Avril Lavigne. Chyna is raising King Cairo and Dream Kardashian, and her latest comments have pulled the age gap at the center of the Tyga and Kylie romance back into public debate.
