He is often called Nino B by some of his die-hard fans. He has appeared in many successful movies in the Nigerian film industry.

Early Life

Bolanle Ninalowo was born on the 7th of May 1980 in a public-owned hospital in Mainland Lagos. He is a Lagos-bred man who spent his formative years in Ikorodu. He was birthed into the family of Alhaji Jamiu Ninalowo and Alhaja Rualate Ninalowo. He has a brother named Hassan Ninalowo.

He hails from the Southwest region and is a Yoruba man by birth. He is a Lagos State indigene and traces his root to Ikorodu City. Bolanle Ninalowo‘s parents are both Yorubas. He is from a large family of ten. He is the second child in a family of eight children. 

Bolanle Ninalowo was born and raised in the Muslim faith. His parents are devout Muslims who had practised the faith for years before his birth. He had a middle-class upbringing and lived a relatively comfortable lifestyle due to his parent’s hard work. 

Education

Bolanle Ninalowo underwent his elementary and high school education in Lagos, Nigeria. He was educated at top public-run schools, scoring good grades in his First School Leaving Certificate Examination, Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination (JSSCE), and Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE).

After completing his secondary school education, he migrated abroad to pursue higher education. He secured admission into DeVry University in the United States. After four years of study, he bagged a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the institution. 

Bolanle Ninalowo passed out of college among the top students in his class. He later decided to further his studies by earning a postgraduate degree. He bagged an MBA in Marketing from the Keller Graduate School Of Management in the United States. 

Career

After bagging his first degree in accounting, Bolanle Ninalowo entered the American workforce. He began working in the corporate sector as an Accountant. Later, he secured employment as a Banker with General Growth Properties, Chicago. He worked with the organization for some years before returning to his fatherland. 

In 2010, Bolanle Ninalowo returned to Nigeria and soon got a job as a Banker with Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB). He worked in one of the bank’s branches in Lagos. While working with GTB, he decided to pursue his dream of being a part of Nollywood. He started as a filmmaker and produced his first movie titled Rebirth. 

Encouraged by the success of Rebirth, Bolanle Ninalowo decided to try his hands at acting. He began auditioning for movie roles and was lucky to be cast in some films in his first year as an actor. He worked part-time as an actor for some time but had to resign to pursue his acting ambition fully. 

Bolanle Ninalowo‘s decision to go into acting full-time paid off because he became a household name within a few years. Over the years, he has appeared in feature films, TV dramas, short dramas, and web series. His success in the industry can be attributed to his stellar performance in many successful Nollywood films. 

Bolanle Ninalowo has worked with many Nollywood superstars such as Mary Njoku, Bisola Aiyeola, Bimbo Akintola, Richard Mofe-Damijo, Sola Sobowale, Desmond Elliot, Muyiwa Ademola, Emem Isong, Olumide Oworu, Elma Mbadiwe, Timini Egbuson, and Bimbo Ademoye, amongst others. He is the first cousin of Nollywood actress and producer Rukky Sanda. Bolanle Ninalowo and his wife, Bunmi Ninalowo divorced in 2023. Months after their divorce, he started dating Nollywood actress, Damilola Adegbite.

Bolanle Ninalowo resides in Nigeria but spends some of his time in Atlanta, United States, where his wife and children live. He is also a book author. He wrote and published the book, Shame To Fame, discussing his journey to stardom.
