Joke Jigan was born on May 31, 1987, to the illustrious family of Mr and Mrs Jigan in 1987. She is a Yoruba woman who hails from Ijebu Ife in Ogun State, South-Western Nigeria.

She was raised in the Christain faith by her parents.
