Early Life & Education

Lord of Ajasa, who turned 41in 2023, was born on July 16, 1982, in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria.

Growing up, his father was a drummer, and his mother was a singer. He became interested in rap music at an early age and started writing his lyrics in Yoruba.

He attended St. Thomas Aquinas College in Akure, where he met his friend and fellow rapper, 2Phat. He later moved to Lagos, where he enrolled in the Lagos State Polytechnic to study Quantity Surveying. He graduated in 2006.

Lord of Ajasa is married to Funmilayo Osaniyi, whom he met in 2004. They have two sons, Boluwatife and Motunrayo.

He is a devoted Christian and a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He is also a philanthropist and a mentor to young aspiring rappers.

He has faced some health challenges due to peptic ulcer and has sought funds for his treatment. He has also been involved in legal disputes with his former record label, ID Cabasa’s Coded Tunes.
