Jesupelumi ‘Jaypee’ Fasesin was born into a Southwestern family on the 19th of March 1997. She was born and bred in Lagos State, the commercial capital of West Africa. She is the only child of her parents.

She is a Yoruba lady whose parents hail from the Yoruba ethnic group. She is originally from one of the Southwestern states of Nigeria. The nickname “Jaypee” was coined from her first name, Jesupelumi.
