Israel Afeare (born October 4, 1991) is a Nigerian logistics manager and promoter, known in the entertainment industry as Israel DMW.

He is affiliated with the record label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) owned by Afrobeats singer and songwriter, David Adeleke a.k.a Davido.

He is one of Davido‘s lieutenants and serves as his Personal Logistics Manager.

Early Life

Israel DMW was born on the 4th of October in 1991, to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Afeare in the late 80s. He was born and bred in Benin City alongside his siblings.

He is an indigene of Edo State who hails from Esan Land. He comes from a Christian household.

Since his undergraduate days, Israel DMW had taken interest in the entertainment industry. As a student, he handled logistics for musical artists whenever they came to perform at shows in his institution.

Education

Israel DMW completed his elementary and secondary school education in top public schools in Benin City. He bagged a degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.

Career

After graduating from the university, Israel DMW began working in the show biz business as a promoter. He worked with some upcoming artists in Benin City for a while before making the decision to move to Lagos.

Few years after moving to Lagos, fortune smiled on Israel DMW as he came in contact with one of Nigeria’s biggest artists, Davido. Davido took a liking to Israel and employed him as his Logistics Manager.

As Davido‘s personal logistics manager, he is tasked with;

• Organizing and scheduling Davido‘s appointments.
• Organizing shows and events that Davido is meant to perform at.
• Ensure that Davido gets the best accommodation and transport facilities whenever he visits any city to perform at an event.

Israel DMW works hand in hand with other members of the DMW family such as Asa Asika, Lati DMW, Special Spesh, Peruzzi, Mayorkun, Yonda, Idowest, Mr May D, Fresh VDM, Dammy Twitch, Obama DMW, Ayanfe, Aloma DMW, amongst others.

As one of Davido‘s key men, he is part of those who control access to the music star. He has toured all the 36 states of the Federation and some international cities like Dubai, London, and Atlanta.

On the 29th of January 2021, he sparked controversy on the internet when he posted on his Instagram page the reason why Zlatan Ibile had blocked DJ Cuppy (Florence Otedola) on WhatsApp and Instagram. In 2019, DJ Cuppy had featured Zlatan on her single, Gelato.

According to Israel DMW, DJ Cuppy had invited Zlatan to perform at her event (the launching of her foundation) in Abuja but she failed to provide him with logistics or give him any money after the event.

Israel DMW‘s statement caused many music lovers to start trolling DJ Cuppy on Twitter and Instagram. And some of them called her a stingy artist despite being from a wealthy home. Her father is billionaire, Femi Otedola.

On the 1st Of February 2021, DJ Cuppy announced on social media that she planned to sue Israel DMW for defamation and told him to prepare to meet her in court.

He is a grassroots politician who is a supporter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). His favorite football club is the Spanish club, Real Madrid FC.
